Referrals/ self-refer

We accept referrals from social prescribers, link workers, NHS and other health referrers. Of, of course, anyone can also book direct with us.

Do you refer clients for support with their mental health, anxiety, depression or other mental illness? Do you refer clients for support with chronic illness or long-term physical health condition or disability?

We have a range of programmes for clients in Derbyshire, Leicestershire and the National Forest area.

We offer and can signpost to a programmes with a range of price-ranges: free, very low-cost, and we offer low-income places on all our paid courses. Some of our courses are grant-funded.

Courses include: workshops, wellbeing experience days, young person’s courses and workshops (18 – 25years), family programmes, personal transformation (Think like a Tree programme) and more. We operate online and in person, our main site in the Midlands is at Whistlewood Common, near Melbourne, Derbyshire. If you don’t see the course you want advertised please sign up to the email list and check back as we add courses all the time.

Sarah is delighted to be working with Anne Bramley from Wellbeing at Whistlewood to support the Green Connections programme with Derbyshire Mind, in addition to other collaborations.

We are also inputting into Green Social Prescribing research projects and are part of the network of providers established through that project.

All facilitators have the necessary qualifications, insurance, risk assessments and we operate evaluation and monitoring using models set out by the University of Derby’s nature connection research.

Please contact us for a chat if you would like to refer and/or connect.
